Haskins played in a highly developed, mature offense behind a good line in 2018
^This^
And Haskins had the most experienced WR room Ohio State has ever had - 3 of them will be drafted in '19.

He also smashed OSU records, including those set by a Senior WB the year before with those same recovers and offense.

who is the better runner?

Your confusing long toss with throwing darts... Throwing deep with air is about grip, trajectory, other factors... Arm strength is more about throwing hard

Come on man it’s possible but highly unlikely. Very few QBs just all of a sudden blossom into 1st round talent their senior year. The chances of that happening are really slim.

Again so urban and day say two equal passer with one being a better runner and said, fricknit we’ll go with the lesser QB.

Makes perfect sense. Right Sammy?

And the thing is I like Joe.

True dual threat QBs are rare and he has a good arm and is a good runner.

He just isn’t the pure passer some other guys are.

Most any top QB can fire fastballs all day. Takes years to develop touch.

Look at the best all time NFL QBs. Most threw with touch unless heat was absolutely needed.

Burrow has always had the talent. He got tossed in to a rebuilding offense in 2018. (And he was damn glad to be there)

Different story this season. New passing scheme, and WR's he'll have worked with for a year. Enjoy the show.

If it were true it would. But it is not.

You are jumping the gun by an entire football season. Step back and watch.

You think Burrow has a realistic shot of being a first rounder after this upcoming season?

So do I. The problem is, Mr or Mrs. Burrow who keeps starting all these stupid fricking threads refuses to look at what each QB did at their respective universities last season and refuses to believe that Meyer chose Haskins, because Haskins beat out Joe Burrow for the starting QB job.

That's fricking insane.

I hope you are right but I think you are just incredibly biased in your evaluation.

But he was a 4th rounder

Not too bad really. It's a good starting point... Higher then I thought, rounds 5-7

Absolutely. Another top-10 season, and a completion rate in the high 60's-plus? Yes. If LSU gets into the playoffs, Burrow could easily be one of the first 2 QB's off the board.

A gm will be fired for not drafting Joe in the 1st round

Given available data, 12th is not an unreasonable guess. But, I expect to see him at or near the top by the end of the season.

Now, let me ask Goldrush, and this board where do you think Burrow will be in the draft if (as Rohan predicts) Joe breaks Ro's 12-game passing record?
