I know a lot of people would initially react "oh he isn't isn't where near a Mahomes".

I beg to differ. He's a lot closer than you think.

I think there is no ceiling to how good Burrow can be.

I don't think it is ridiculous to say he will be as good as Mahomes or better (of course Mahomes went to an infinitely better team. The Chiefs went 12-4 the year they drafted up 17 spots in the first to take Mahomes)

That being said, I think it is absurd to say right now you know Joe is better. You can't base that on college work.

Machines arm Talent is through the roof though. Accurate and can make every throw. Deep ball included. Burrow is accurate but arm strength isn’t on the same level.

True but realistically he has good enough arm talent and his accuracy is still amazing on deep balls.

If you need someone to throw it 80 yards call Mahomes but that isn’t a very common need in the NFL.

No doubt of his potent, but he will see a few tough transition years. The overall WR group stood so much above the competition in college. A different story in the NFL. In one interview he said, I know and trust my guys downfield. If it’s a 50-50 ball, I let it go & let them make a play. Guessing he will throw quite a few interceptions early on with that attitude.

Wherever he lands, I will be in that number. Just hoping it’s not the NFC South. :-)

I’m not sure about arm talent but when it comes to leadership and pocket mobility he reminds me of Russell Wilson

Please don’t try to make us challenge our loyalty to Burrow, Mahomes is a MVP and Super Bowl winner, I Love Joe but come on, I hope he has a great season, Joe is trying to establish himself as a NFL QB. Mahomes on the other hand is defending the NFL Title one in which he was the MVP. Slow down son

He's definitely been compared to Joe Montana. It would seem that Burrow can step it up with a game on the line more like Montana.

My comparison is if you took Josh Allen and gave him the pocket awareness, brains and accuracy of Drew Brees.

Sad thing is that we may never know.
Unless somehow he can stay out of Cincinnati.

Arm strength isn’t about how far you can throw, Mahomes can make a throw into any window on any part of the field on any platform... burrow isn’t on that level

Idk if you missed it but Joe doesn’t a whole season putting balls wherever the frick he wanted to.

There were many throws he couldn’t make.

Is this true though? Most scouts would say he’s just a confident thrower and is willing to take risks that others don’t. A lot of big plays made in college were from letting our talented WRs make a play on the ball. We had mismatches all year, it wasn’t all Burrow. I don’t think he’s otherworldly with accurate balls like a Brees, but I do think he’s a gamer that makes big plays.
