I told everyone I’m with we have to bunt here or we’ll pay for it.. Dup is a groundball SINGLE hitter(I know he hit 2HRs). You do not let a single hitter swing away there. You fricking bunt the tying runs over for your 4/5 Hitters. Good thing Manerri can recruit good kids. Because he’s an awful in game coach

Good. Whining about not bunting there is easy to do with hindsight, but no way am I bunting one my best hitters down 2 with only 6 outs to go.

CPM is never right to you guys. When he would bunt a few years ago people would complain and when he doesn’t bunt those same people complain. No way are you bunting with your best hitter at the plate down 2 runs in the 8th. That’s all on Antoine not being able to execute, not Mainieri

He’s betting on Dups to not get doubled up and move the runners over. He doesn’t want to take the bat out of the hand of Cabrera in that situation. So he plays the percentages and loses. It happens.

Math and probability says that, as good as Antoine is, there’s a 7 in 10 chance that something bad was going to happen if he swung. Given that the double play happened, the logic is now indisputable. So go blow a German Shepherd.

Yeah I would not have bunted either. It's not a no brainer call either way. Especially this early in the season.

you guys are morons.. you can’t tell the difference between not bunting a single hitter with Caberra on deck VS a power hitter with the bottom of the order coming up. You guys should stick to other sports
