Getting the bunt down would not have mattered in that inning. Also can we not put a little blame on the batter for not executing at all? I know Duplantis knows how to bunt.

It wasn’t a bad call. It was a bad bunt. I wouldn’t have called the bunt if I was the coach, but I’m not the coach, and bunt wasn’t a bad call there.

No having RISP and being lost at the plate did that. Especially after overcoming pitching issues earlier that woulda ended the game a lot sooner for us. Many opportunities wasted at the plate tonight.

It was a fake bunt. If he had any intent to actually bunt that ball the runner woulda broke later or not even steal to begin with.
