No a-hole we as fans say no to bullshite mediocrity and men like Alleva need to do their fricking job. It's assholes like you that accept this state of affairs that perpetuate it. And FYI we have lost to Bama 7 times in a row, that is not being competitive in your own conference and we have one of the highest paid staffs in the nation.

We need to get a great OC. Nothing personal against Ensminger, he did an ok job last year as an interim OC but that's just it, he did an "ok" job.
Go and get a great OC. Quit screwing around and go get someone who gets along with the coaching staff, or vice versa.
I hate to bring up Saban but he went and got a guy that coached at the Patriots and had been in the NFL for 17 years.
If we promote from within, it will be bad for not only the football program, but for O, Alleva, as well as Ensminger. Fans will be annoyed and will, chances are, become apathetic and begin to stop coming to games.
I'm not saying go and get an OC that'll win you a natty in the first year, although I'll certainly take that. But get a great OC that will use the weapons you have on offense to the best of their ability. Teach and make those weapons you have even better. And let's beat Bama please. I'll take that and a winning season.
The spring game is in 3 months so get someone here pronto and begin working with Brennan. Don't put this together at the last minute.
