Why was he part of senior day yesterday? Thought he had another year. Is he hanging them up? Seems we could definitely use him next year.

He wanted to be with his brother and parents. He's coming back next year.

Coach Mainieri said on his post-game radio show the Jordan family and Bryce and Beau asked for the twins to be honored together with the players they came to LSU with as recruits.

It’s up to him if he wants to enroll and take graduate courses if he wants to play one more year. I’m sure PM would allow him to play.

The Jordans bring back fond memories of Chad Cooley.

Bryce will have to decide if he wants to play another year or not.
PM wants him to return but Bryce is weighing whether to move on to the next phase of his life.
Both Jordan's are not big time MLB prospects.
Beau might get drafted late and even some MLB team might draft Bryce late and he may go that route.
With Bryce graduating, it would be another whole year of taking classes towards a grad degree or look to get a job and move on with life!

They mentioned at the game when announcing them that Bryce had another year of eligibility but wanted to be honored with his brother.

That was the reasoning, he graduated and wanted to be honored with his brother.

As far as next year, it's still up in the air.
He has a spot if he wants to come back.
Whether he does or not, will be decided later.

I agree that both are not major league prospects. I am sure they could hook on with a minor league team like many kids do, that would sound fun to me if I was that age and good enough to do it. But it does push back the date you have to enter the real world and find an occupation.

Not knowing the kid or his family, my guess is Bryce would like to play another year if he was told he would be a regular starter, but maybe not come back a year to be an every now and then dh.

not sure how much truth there is in this, but someone said on here yesterday there have been talks about Beau replacing Landry as a GA and Bryce coming back for his 5th year to play.

That wouldn't surprise me at all if Paul did that.

If Bryce comes back, and earns a spot, he could do something similar as to what Beau is doing, primary DH and could get some starts at 1B as well
