Notre Dame just got a top 94 recruit (CB) over lsu

That’s it. 35min drive in the morning, 12-13hour days and Mon-Friday is 1-1/2 drive home from Plaq to the LP. Yesterday I searched my inbox for 5minutes looking for an email from that morning only to find it was sent 2 days prior. They are running together and the heat isn’t helping.

This sounds just like my son. He has been on a TA since last year at a plant inside of Dow.

Not trying to rain on the parade at all, but how solid are these commitments??
I have a hard time getting excited about kids “committed” but not signed. Too much can happen, especially with NIL money floating around

He may not be one of us, but this man knows what he is doing. I like all the solid recruits pouring in. All of the momentum is on our side now to at least a top 5 class.

What will be interesting is who get reoffered of the 2022 and 2023 kids that leave Louisiana and then on a year or two wanna transfer back to LSU.
Polian has talked about this, and like others have mentioned Kelly has a plan. And with NIL/portal Kelly really has a much better shot at greater success here than he would have previously.

This right here. Feels great having a head coach that has a plan and a proven system that wins at every place he has been. BK said after spring he knows this teams weaknesses and will address them through the portal and he did that and now he is recruiting for the future. I definitely think BK knows how this NIL thing will play out and I can see him leaving a few spots open each year to grab some of those guys you are talking about.

I think some people are worried he’s eschewing elite players for high character kids, but it’s brilliant. I think it’ll help give structure to a lot of the in-state studs that just don’t have that in their lives. Look at TM7. He’s a high-character individual, though we might not have thought that in 2012. He just needed more support than he got here, and I think Kelly knows how to build a locker room to make sure his stars stay accountable to the team.
