Looks like Brennan is prepping for the Battle for the Backup. Checking in at 198lbs! Should be fun to see how he does in Fall camp!

As the lbs go up it just seems with some in here so do the expectations.

Last time I checked throwing tds has nothing to do with how much a qb weighs. Just my .02

Maybe not, but the guy was the best QB in Mississippi HS. Not a guarantee, but definitely a positive indicator of what he might do if he can transition that talent to the college level. Obviously, O sees him as the future at QB.

I don't expect him to start, but want to see if makes a strong push. I'm just glad to have him and excited to see if he eventually lives up to the hype or if we see start to see hints of what he will do.

I saw him at the Union and he was eating a pretty big meal. Maybe he's up to 200 now! I snuck some pics. Will post them when I get the chance!

At this rate, he'll be well over 300 lbs by the start of the season.

oh boy. I already see this shaping up to be yet another memorable chapter of the infamous LSU QB position battle.

But Cam and Les are gone so both Brennan and Narcisse will almost assuredly develop into exceptional players!

Just my two cents worth, he's a bean pole and will get broken in half in the SEC if he doesn't gain that solid muscular weight. Can't throw TD's if he's injured.

175 to 185 to 198. 205-210 by season's start. That's a great start.
