No such song. You must mean "Hey, Fightin' Tigers."

Is it possible to have "New Mexico" pride?

Is a cheesy 90s country song about some girl in Baton Rouge supposed to instill in me some kind of "Louisiana pride"?

I'd say it's more of a nod to his days of playing at Alex Box where they play it every game.

Yep.

I think about this every time there's an Alex Bregman story on this website. It's really a testament to the baseball culture at LSU that a kid from New Mexico who didn't grow up anywhere around Louisiana, was left with such an impression from his time here that he's carried it this long in the Major League and still repping.

Am I always asking good questions? Not always. Most of the time, yes.

You done it now! Nobody speaks ill of a 90's pop-country song by an artist, neither of which have any connection to LSU, Baton Rouge, or even Louisiana, but happen to mention the city in which LSU is located!

Not as good as Elis Andrus' Song

If Roughned Odor would change his to "Momma Said Knock You Out", he'd be my favorite player ever.
