Bregman just saved the Astros

In the ninth he hit a triple to tie the game 6-6. Next batter drove him in and it was clutch.

He was batting with the Astros down 2 with two outs in the B9. Yes I would call that saving the game. You have some axe to grind with Bregman or do you just enjoy arguing semantics out of boredom?

He said saved the Astros not the game. It came off as he saved the Astros season by saving this game.

All he's saying is that where were all of these bregman posts while the stros were carrying his limp 240 avg to a 16 game lead. I'm a huge stros fan, and an lsu alum, and nobody is more excited to see Alex finally carrying his own water than I, but OP's post came off all wrong. Bregman didn't "save the astros" today. He came through on the clutch to help win a game. Something altuve, correa, Springer, gonzo, and Reddick have been doing all season long.

Saw Bregs last year at Rogers in Toronto.
I might have yelled at him during warm-ups to get his attention but once he saw my LSU shirt he was a smiler.
