Dip is nasty, I'll be happy when this trend ends. Sets sun a bad example to kids.

A trend that started 500+ years ago... don't think it's going anywhere.

I have a dip in as I'm reading this I agree it's gross and I'm trying to quit.

What's interesting is that MLB banned tobacco awhile ago - hopefully he doesn't catch any shite for his comment. I think that's why we see so many guys with huge wads of seeds in their mouth these days.

Also, Bregman

You’ll be dead and gone and dip will still be here.

He was grandfathered in. It’s a weird rule where existing players can still dip.

sweetwaterbilly- I’ll explain how to quit. Purchase a few cans of Smokey Mountain herbal chew. It’s non tobacco & non nicotine. In an empty can mix half & half Smokey Mountain and your tobacco. Do that for a week, then go 60/40 herbal to tobacco for a few days. Then 80/20 for a few days. Then all herbal. It’s all downhill from there. You can break the habit much easier after the nicotine is out of your system. It becomes more of a security blanket. I quit this way after 25 years and my best friend followed my plan and he is now almost done with the herbal chew. He buys one can a week. Good luck & I wish you success & health.

You do know players dip/chew during games to settle their nerves right? It helps their at bats

Nahh they dip because when they're playing summer ball in high school and college those games are boring as frick and you literally have nothing else to do in the dugout and then it just sticks.
