to put this game away and nail MVP. Just doesn’t always work, no matter how talented you are.

Actually no, it didn’t feel good. It did feel correct, though.
I am pulling really hard for the Astros to win.

So had Aluve & Verlander..... but doesn't always work no matter how talented you are! Of course the other 100+ win team is trying hard also!!

Jesus man they’re in the freakin World Series and are about to head to game 7 against another 100 win ball club.
Hitting hasn’t been consistent, but damn man.

Geez, you guys are misinterpreting my intent. All I was trying to say is that he had two chances tonight which, had he gotten a solid hit, would have been wonderful for Bregman.

This is the part where I make a joke about OP's post only to realize I may post a similarly depressing thing this Saturday

I know he is very talented. Every time I watch him play, he doesn't hit well. It's my fault. This extended back to when he was at LSU.

Its the best thing to happen.... If he'd gotten a hit or homer he would have become the permanent go-to guy, and the others would slack off. Now they can get a good night sleep and win tomorrow.
