Ever hear of the word instinct? Obviously not.

idk. the BRPD stated 15-20 seemed too high to them.

This times all positive numbers.
Come on these coaches have families. They dont need to be sitting outside WCA. Who else is left some GA or college kid hired by the athletic department? You think they are going to stop 270 highly tuned athletic machines?

Yeah, I kind it find of difficult to believe that 15-30 LSU football players all sneaked out thru windows to break curfew.
They very likely walked right past a manager of some sort, who was supposed to keep this sort of thing from happening, but instead, was conveniently too busy playing 'Angry Birds' to notice.

I blame you parents for your ignorance.

No I would expect Jefferson and Hebert to stop them on their way out and tell them it's a bad idea, like any "leader" is expected to do.

It was 2 weeks from the first game. Non athletes just got back for school they wanted to have a good time. Sorry for partying.
I broke curfew before. In fact in any situation like a football team it was the older guys who broke it and took the younger guys with them because the younger guys were the scared ones. They got punished if caught. As Im sure Les did/will do. The fight is a big deal. Curfew psh Id be dissapointed if they DIDNT go out.

Or maybe I had a respect for rules and the leadership position I earned? Honor courage commitment... Guess those values are a joke to you?
Keep reaching.
Don't go spouting all this high and mighty BS, and there won't be anyone digging in your backyard. Just saying.

Anyone who thinks every LSU team before this didn't do the exact same thing and they weren't led by seniors is just fricking naive. The breaking of curfew is such a non-factor its not even funny. Like someone else mentioned i've heard stories about the players in omaha doing some not so curfew related things and they ended up just fine. It's not like this was the thursday before a big game. Now getting into a fight is a big deal and they should be punished accordingly.

Who has issues with them breaking curfew? That actually happens on a regular basis

So most of us have never been part of a college football training camp..What does that matter..Rules are rules in all walks of life. I dont come into work at 9 when my work day starts at 8 just cuz I dont like a rule..I think you are making excuses for let boys be boys..They are men and let the consequences happen. And those arrested should have something more severe then sitting out a quarter or a half.

You don't fricking suspend them, you run them and keep the matter in your own house. We called it Breakfast Club and it was fricking awful.
So you played in the 80's?

this doesn't apply to those who were fighting, but the remaininge alleged 50 or so who were at the bar.
Has the number reached 50?

I think the OP made it quite clear that the team will pay dearly for skipping out after curfew...

What if you work in an environment where someone isn't holding your belt loop and the important part is not necessarily the time you arrive or leave, but whether you can actually perform the tasks required of you in the work setting. Novel concept, I realize. But not every job requires people to be totally dependent on an arbitrary clock.

Will your feelings be hurt if the public reprimand isn't to your liking? Because we all know that it's the coaches job to placate the posters on this site.

someone posted that an employee at the club mentioned that 30-50 players were at the bar. Who knows, I'm sure most would have trouble picking out 50 football players in public...

Breaking curfew I have done, and I would consider it unusual if I didn't.
