Watching the NFL, they seem to get more punt returns. They also send guys at the punter so has to kick it quickly.
In college, it seems like half the time the punter is unpressured and delays punting for a second or so allowing the coverage to get downfield.
If you don’t at least send token pressure, you just get a fair catch

Ugh! Not even looking for good defense. I would settle for below average defense that gets a couple of stops per game against good teams. That’s all we would really need. Just hold ole miss to 45 (!) we walk out of there with a W.
