Should be that way if Michigan loses too.

Conference champs should get the sway over non conference champs. If Bama loses and still gets in it basically says games on the field don’t matter only what a few people behind closed doors think.

Right now with the favorites winning.

UGA
Michigan
Cincy
Notre Dame.

Irish will go before Baylor, unfortunately.

And UGA will pistol whip them proving BK right.

They may put Notre Dame in just so the media can beat the “Brian Kelley abandoned his team” drum hard for the next month.

ND will get in. The media has their narrative already.

I don't think they get over Notre Dame.

Sentimental favorite and no joke I see politics and race coming into play.

First black head coach to make the playoffs and have a shot at a National Championship

It's dumb but that will be the play

Better odds - Notre Dame goes even if AL wins
100% fits the Hunger Games Freak Culture to reward ND for hiring a 35 black assistant with 5 years experience as a coordinator
And to crucify BK as an old man privileged white supremacist

UGA Michigan Cincy Notre Dame.

If Alabama is currently better than Notre Dame, then why would losing to the #1 team make them worse?

BU deserves it over ND. Three wins vs current top 25 including a nice OOC win over current #12 BYU. Two wins against teams in the top ten (at the time), and they just avenged one of their two losses

ND has 0 wins over teams currently ranked, and lost their only matchup with a top ten team

Better maybe subjective, but lose three games and there is no benefit of the doubt

The committee wouldn’t put a 2 loss Baylor in before a 2 loss Alabama. Would not happen

LOL no. Only chance for Baylor is a Cincinnati loss. If Cincy wins Notre Dame is all the way in. I don’t think Iowa beats Michigan. If they do maybe Baylor gets in, but I’d bet they give it to bama before Baylor.

You can thank Mike Gundy for that. His bone headed play calling twice inside the 2 yd line cost Okie State the game. Period.

Get ready for the Brian Kelly media crucification.

You sure? One is a conference champion, the other is not. And Alabama would have just lost to one of the playoff teams. Making the SEC Championship game a defacto playoff game.

Could be how the committee looks at it.

If Cindy loses they should still get in before ND because of head to head
