I am not defending Bo Pelini because his defense certainly did suck last yeat, but he was not THE problem. I only you white boot wearing drunks in south La don't want to acknowledge that CoachO IS THE PROBLEM! He can recruit, but he is worse at developing talent than CLM was and that is saying something. CoachO recruited Burrow and hired Brady and he got lucky in 2019. He is a .500 coach and and LSU will be a .500 team unless CoachO can summon the gods of the swamp and get lightening to strike twice.

It’s almost starting to look like it’s the players. If this continues I hate to say it but it’s the players.

First it falls back on the coaching, but when will it be the players if we continue to change coaches and still can’t get it right.

The players are soft. That’s a fact.

Who's fault is it if the players fricking suck and don't even give a shite?

Not the head coach?

He deserves his share of the blame, but O deserves most of it. The players are talented but aren’t being put in position to succeed. Moffitt is past his prime too.

There’s certainly an element of both.

1. There is no leadership on D. When the going gets tough, the players get to pouting.

2. Max shouldn't need a coach to tell him not to throw the ball behind his back.

3. The offensive line is just flat out not good.

There is plenty of criticism to heap on the coaches, but the players deserve some blame as well.

Aranda was the reason that Coach O even got the job and kept it, as without Aranda, O would not have gotten the chance to even coach till 2019. Then he shits on Aranda when Aranda leaves. Karma's a bitch O.

There’s a lot of guys on defense that shouldn’t see the field ever again.

I don’t know how much this contributes but I do think leadership is a big issue for this defense. They were a brick wall in the first quarter then after that play action TD they just completely deflated

The best players on defense have to be leaders.

Where is Stingley? Where is Ricks? They have to step up and be leaders.

I've thought (and have heard) that the black players don't want to play for a head coach that supported Trump for President. IF, this is true, the players should find another college head coach that they support his political view point.

All the alcoholic shrimpers will be at the game this Saturdays wildly cheering their hero's and then be up on here with the "We're Back" BS after we curb stomp mighty McNeese!

I was told that woke vaccine mandates caused us to lose to UCLA.

Good to know that was incorrect.

Some of you forget too easily. Under Bo our secondary was getting scorched and teams could run at will.

Ricks shows up to play, he takes his man out of the game and is excited to be there. Not sure what else he can do other than play LB.

While I agree that Coach O deserves some of the blame. However, like another poster stated, at some point it's the players fault. LSU has turned over the coaching staff and the problems remain the same. It's obvious now, the constant here is the players. A lot of them just aren't what everyone thought they would be.

P.S. a premium needs to be placed on OL recruitment and development ASAP.

We got 5th & 6th year seniors on Defense too, so this is really sad that it’s no leadership.
