miles has as many top 5 finishes as ed orgeron has seasons as a head coach.

Yeah, Miles inherited great talent an talent that had been coached by the best. That's when he ran up his winning percentage. He made up for it later though. His last 2 full seasons weren't very impressive and his last partial season was 2-2 and the wheels were starting to come off.

I think we should have hired an up and coming african american coach , someone that can get this board motivated.
I'm sure Joe tried, but he'd have to be Creole and talk like us.
Slim pickings.

But your moronic cohort just opined about how bad a Coach Saban really is.

So you actually think the rant made recruits not come. I guess the rant made O lose 4 games including worst loss in history to MSU and losing to midmajor Troy, and also Fire his OC to hire Ensminger too.

frickin genius.

Do you ever read Glass Door or any other business message board before making a job decision on another company??....
Or, do you just figure out which Wal-Mart is closest to a titty bar that stays open when you're getting off of the re-stocking night shift? frickin genius.

his 2015 season is better than any season in ed orgeron's career.

if saban left such a title ready program why did a staff of
nick saban, jimbo fisher, will muschamp, derek Dooley, and kirby smart LOSE 3 GAMES IN YEAR 5?

miles had already proven he could build a decent program at Oklahoma State.

Personally I wouldn’t doubt that there are Bama fans posing as Tiger fans on this board spreading doubt and dissent...

Yeah, Bama has it all covered....they are in the heads of the fans only because you guys think like children and can’t see the Forest for the trees...

Thanks for helping Surtain make his decision...scum

I put the blame squarely on you idiots..

So, Coach O's actions don't run off recruits - posters on TD who criticize O do.

If some five star DB recruit turns down LSU and the NFL opportunities it can provide because of TD posts, then we need to get a bunch of shills over on the Alabama boards.

I looked up contact info online before I moved to this job (350 miles away), called the administrators, and made 2 trips in person before my first interview because I like to “interview the interviewer.” I made my decision based on what I thought about them, not what anonymous internet people with agendas thought.

Isn't it the head coach's job to generate fan support and enthusiasm around the program?

which one has a bigger affect on recruiting?

anonymous message board posters posting objective facts
or
hiring a 55 year old career dline coach that has never in his life proven he can run a successful side of the ball let alone a successful program.

anonymous message board posters posting objective facts about O
or
ed orgeron herp derping his way into losing to a mid major team that doesnt have a singke fricking player with a draft grade.

0 pumpers have reached the point where they're deluding themselves into believing online message board posters have a bigger impact on recruiting than the head coach.

Also, what does it say about the head coach's alleged recruiting prowess if his pitch can't overcome random message board posters?

No, it ALL plays a role. I am no blind O Sunshine Pumper, but I love LSU enough to not play my hand constantly criticizing my University, their 3 and 4 star recruits and its Coach. These recruira live and die by social media. Some of the things said about them, and LSU, are just plain dumb...and some of it is so bad it has to be done by competitive fans.....if not, its twice as dumb.

You’re just an arrogant arse to think your opinion or mine means shite to high school recruits.

A new QB, and they lost the bowl game due to a hail mary pass.

They won the national championship just the year before.

Not a bad idea....spread rumors that Saban is aging...he’s out of touch with the young players coming in...

Bama’s on the downward slope.....they could not maintain their recruiting dominance this year.....blah blah blah
