Personally I wouldn’t doubt that there are Bama fans posing as Tiger fans on this board spreading doubt and dissent...

See...the thing is...Ed Orgeron is NOT one of "the best" coaches. and until he does something that makes people think he is, that loss is not some outlier, it's what we can look back on over his career as the norm for programs he runs.

Its retarded to not think those two are comparable. Funny name or not Troy in 2017 wasn't a bad team. Now should LSU have lost to them? Hell,no.
But unlike Troy, UAB was in its 4th season of D1 football in 2000. I couldn't care less that Saban took over a 3-8 team. He had MORE than enough players to beat Watson Brown and UAB.
I know some of you love Saban more than your own families,but come on. Its crazy to say 2017 Troy was worse than 2000 UAB.

the team Saban had was 3-8 the year before and its was saban's 1st year.
O's team was so talented that he ignorantly publicly claimed we were going to make the playoffs.
Saban had earned the right to have a bad loss.
O hasnt earned shite.
