Les with the TO in his pocket could have called it right then and it would have been reviewed. It amazes me all the ineptitude that dude had and we still won a natty.

even after a historic, 15-0 season, some are still Bama-obsessed, over a play in a game 6 years ago.

I never really felt that 4th down TD against Arizona State in 2005 was complete. I thought Early Doucet dropped it when he went to the ground.

OMG dude. it was complete in BOUNDS. it bobbled after going out of bounds. he did not have to control to the ground. that was not NFL RULES!!!!!!!!
I don't care about NFL rules, and like another poster said, he's our guy so it's good!

Not sure it's "complete in bounds", though. He got 2 hands on it, one foot in, and
-score-

But, he had the ball awkwardly in his hands, and immediately as he strides, he's pulling the ball into his body. He hits down out of bounds, and the ball bounces away instantly.

the play is at the 1:59:09 mark

And the Bama obsession goes on. It is strong with this one.

we backed into that natty. Took an act of god for us to get into the BCSCG. We lost a game we had to have, Arky, last game of the season, at home, when the entire 4th quarter they ran McFadden out of the wildcat, we knew it was coming, and still couldn’t stop it.

Les won a lot of games in spite of himself.

Yeah I’m not gonna watch that. Explains why I don’t remember the play - 2015 Bama was the game that broke me and I probably washed it from my memory. I remember feeling like and thinking we would never be able to beat them.

21-0 I was angry

2012 at Tiger Stadium I was depressed

2015 I was completely psychologically defeated

Then 2019

Kendall Beckwith should have scooped and scored on that fumble late in the 4th

Different rules then.
Re-watched and it is just as I remember it.
As soon as he catches (and he does control the ball), foot touches, play is over. Touchdown Tigers!
Didn’t matter what happened after.

I really didn't want to re-live this one. Most painful Bama loss I can remember. Worse than 2011/'12 championship.. Worse than 2012 IMO.. There were about 10 things that had to go right after the fumble for Bama just to be in that game.. only 1 thing had to go right for LSU to win.. and we couldn't get the 1 thing..
Stupid personal foul.
Stupid kicking it out of bounds.
Stupid no replay pass.
Etc. etc.
I was about as mad as I've ever been about a game (or anything really) after that one.

That day/night/weekend was too special in BR to walk out with an L. Same in 2012. We fell on the wrong side of coaching those nights. As good as Tiger Stadium can ever be.

Looking back, how stacked was that defense? A bunch of those guys didn’t really blow up until they got to the league, but Hunter, Debo Jones, Kwon Alexander, Adams, and white are all pro bowlers, then you have Collins, Riley, Godchaux and a few others who are all still in the league.

Classic Les Miles choke job. He got away with that kind of bullshite against the lessor SEC teams, but not against Bama. Hell I'd say Miles would have lasted another year or two if he'd have just won the '12 and '14 Bama games.
