Drost was a stick in big time HS. Very surprised he never developed. Mc Neese I would figure is leader.

He looked really good at the beginning of last year but fell off quick and never played again

Yeah I always feel bad seeing the transfers, but I also know many times these decisions aren’t what the players want. It’s the hard side of where college athletics are today. If they want a landing spot, the right time to enter the portal is now.

Does baseball have a travel squad like football? If so they are likely not on it, and there is no point for them to hang around.

Holt talking with Texas A&M (Cain) and Oklahoma St (Recruited him hard out of high school)...but I agree with you....he needs to go to a smaller school if he wants to contribute on the field

I hate to see Drost leave. He wants to play but the outfield is crowded here.

Yeah, he looked promising early last year. I don’t see any path to him cracking the lineup as an outfielder, though.

The strikeouts were just such a huge issue with him I dont think he ever got that figured out, including the offseason and in practices.
