Beth Torina flipped and picked up elite 2018 pitcher tonight

I know RB but figured this deserved recognition by the rant. LSU picked and flipped up one of the nations best pitchers tonight adding Ali Kilponen out of Colorado. She chose LSU over top programs like Washington, Baylor and Oregon.
Senior year: 314 Ks to 12 walks, .38 ERA, throws 69 mph
Beth is killing it
2018 class now jumps from #8 to to #5 in the country.
LSU now adds two top 8 pitchers to next years team!
LSU is recruiting it on the trail lately in a lot of sports! Fantastic time to be an LSU Tiger

Isn't flipping softball players really rare and/or difficult. A guy I worked with has a daughter that committed to FSU as a freshman and he says they choose college that far out and generally go to the school they commit too originally. Any truth to that?

Yes its extremely rare to see flips and last minute decisions in softball recruiting
Most commit as a freshman then work hard till they reach campus
