We accomplished more than any team in cfb history. I don't need some bracket vote to tell me LSU was the best team I've ever seen last season. They just were. I have never seen a team so dominant once our defense started whipping arse along with our offense. Best hands down.

These show downs are always silly. There is literally no team from pre-2000 who could hang with any of the top teams today. Sports science is so much more advanced. Players are bigger, faster, and stronger. Schemes are so much more mathematically enhanced.

rpg37 Wholeheartedly agree. I've been watching CFB since 1958. The 1971 Nebraska team was incredible...in that era.
There were great players then, but the size, strength, and speed throughout whole teams is just another level now (at many schools). 2019 Tigers would have hung 60 on them IMHO. 2019 Tigers just had so many outstanding players on offense and defense. Likely will have 15 drafted this year. Probably 40 on '95 Nebraska and '01 Miami also
