Best players on field for LSU - OFFENSIVELY

Future looks bright for LSU w Nussmeier, Kiner, Bech, and of course Boutte. Was good to see our true freshmen contributing. Nuss can throw the football on the money and looked great moving around to avoid sacks. Kiner ran hard and like CEH and Kevin Faulk the 1st guy rarely makes the tackle. Beck looks like a polished seasoned veteran who has wheels and can catch the football and run after the catch. If our offensive line gets healthy and in synch with those 4 guys on the field at the same time we'll be fine. Looking forward to the NEXT game. Geaux Tigers!

Would have liked to have seen more Brian Thomas though.

We said the same thing last year about Johnson and cast.

Yeah but he looked a little discouraged that he didn’t get in until the last few min of garbage time. All the Wideouts need to catch the ball better including boutte.

A healthy Goodwin = big plays.

My bad professor. Guess we'll all know how to spell his name soon enough when he gets more involved in the offense as the season progresses. I missed Goodwin as well on true freshmen who contributed offensively.

Kiner definitely needs to be in the field. I just want to see us change tempo and get the ball out quick or catch a tired dline on an inside zone play.

Dropped 2 passes in a row late in the game. His number wasn’t called and ran lackadaisical routes, wasn’t expecting the ball and dropped both. Every route run you should be expecting the ball.

More concerning for me, was his attitude after the second drop when he went to the sideline. O approached him and he just brushed O off. Best indicator I’ve seen yet that O has lost the team…but I didn’t like the attitude from Thomas either

Boutte is just so smooth. Bech looks like a damn fine football player. Who was the running back that started the game last night? 22?

After that little exchange I thought, “no way Brian Thomas finishes his career at LSU”

Bech has some dog in him. He will be a good one.

Technically it's special teams & Cade is great but Boutte is the best offensive player.

Where the hell is Mickey? He should’ve been in his damn ear before Orgeron.
