quote:Burrow has to have adequate time to find receivers and go through progressions. (Before being blasted by an SEC DL/LB)
With these wideouts and Burrow with a big arm there is absolutely no reason for us to not air it out a ton. Hopefully Steve really is going to do what he says and open it up
Pass Blocking is the major ????? of this team.
Few on here seem concerned about that. (They will be come mid-late October)

I've been told multiple times in the last few days that these ranking "experts" don't know what the hell they're doing
Jesus, you are almost as big of a drama queen as the "Solo" poster.
No one said they don't know what they are doing. People have pointed out that recruiting rankings are not an exact science and have given factual examples to prove the statement.
Here is a little information for you to get all dramatic about:
quote:
Football still had the highest number of overall participants, however, with 1,086,748 in total last season. An additional 61 schools added football to their athletic offerings in 2016-17 as well.
1,086,748 high school football players. I don't know how many employees Rivals or 24/7 have but I would bet it is not NEAR enough to evaluate over 1 million players.
With that many HS players having Greedy ranked as the 219th best player in the nation really may not be that bad of a miss for them.

Jefferson is definitely a darkhorse but I really think he’s gonna be a star for some reason. Talented bloodline even if Hicks brother made some of the most epic QB fails in LSU history.
The kid is just a fluid athlete that glides out there. We haven’t seen the freshman in action yet but Jefferson and Sullivan were the best wideouts in the spring game. Dillion looked good as well.

I’m giddy about our WRs
Giles
Jefferson
Sullivan
Davis
Anderson
Dillon
Marshall
Chase
Jenkins
Jones
McMath
That’s 11 guys that have as much talent as anyone in the country.
I predict a rotation of
Giles
Jefferson
Marshall
Chase
Sullivan
Dillon (I think he’ll get some slot reps)
Dark horse to break in the rotation : McMath

How so? What I said was the absolute truth. I've posted multiple times that LSU had the 6th most talented roster last year and was told on every occasion that it was bullshite and that those rankings mean nothing.
quote:
No one said they don't know what they are doing.
These are just your quotes from your thread about the interview O did on AFR the other day. You tell me if it sounds like you think it sounds like you believe they know what they're doing.
quote:
But hey, you and the experts know a lot more than the college football staffs that recruit the players for their teams. The staffs are just throwing shite against the wall with no vision at all and hoping something sticks.
quote:
Do you think all of the schools offering him think or care if he is rated as a 3-star by the "EXPERTS"?
quote:
Would that possibly change LSU's 2016 "expert" ranking?
quote:
your beef is with the "experts" and not me stating what the "experts" have done.
quote:
It is on 24-7 for everyone to see how GREAT the "experts" are at rating players which in turn rates classes.
quote:
But just an example of the experts and their GREAT and VAST knowledge.
This guy was the 16th best LSU signee in the 2016 class. The 219th player nationally, the 20th best at his position and the 14th best in the state. Are ALL of the players ranked ahead of him going to be drafted higher in the NFL? Will he the be the 220th player taken next year?
That's not to even begin with other people were saying. The rankings only seem to matter if it's a top 5 position group or if Moss was #127 overall in Rivals or whatever he was. You love to bring that one up when trying to convince people that O is doing well. You bring up Greedy being underevaluated when it fits your narrative as well.
The fact that YOU are calling me a drama queen is the funniest shite ever.
quote:
have given factual examples to prove the statement.
Yet when people do this about Orgeron to question whether or not he is the right guy for the job, they hate the man, want LSU to lose and are being negative. C'mon Ree, you really can contradict yourself sometimes.
