Let's see what happens after an entire season and not 1 game against a non conference early season game.

The hype on this guy after 1 good game against CMU is crazy.

Not a fair comparison bc OBJ/Jarvis true freshman year was with Les/JJ/Jarrett Lee offense. They were throwing the ball 12x/game back then.

Huh? Deion Smith is a freshman and had a better game. Bech is great but come on guys, let’s pump the brakes.

Clayton and Boutte would be the 2 strongest arguments.

Then, a group of Odell, Doucet, Chase, and some others (Bech is probably amongst this group). Guys who played some meaningful freshmen snaps and produced.

I think Bech has a chance to be amongst the top 3 as far as freshmen production. Possibly first if his production continues into SEC play.

Why ask people to prove you wrong when you really want them to tell you you’re right?

Clayton was more impactful. He’s my choice.

You’re wrong.

But Bech is a beast who certainly could be one on the best.

Michael Clayton.
I was working sports media in Northeast MS at the time, and we I asked Ole Miss Coach David Cutcliffe about Josh Reed before the game. He mentioned he was equally concerned about Clayton, who was a freshman. I think Clayton ended up scoring a TD in that game.

Bech played super good, but at the same time, he still didn't have the outstanding game Deion Smith had. Indeed, go re-watch like I did last night.
