How are we going to fix the issues that have led us to rely on true freshman and second team players? I hate to say it, but the Florida win does nothing for us but temporarily distracted us from fixing the problems. A sustainable plan has got to be developed and put into place yesterday.

I am not being negative, I'm being a realist!

That game was young studs maturing and a team gelling. You can always take that as a great building block moving forward.

Also LO-frickingL “nice BUT” it’s a sport. Enjoy the games like Saturday. That’s why I watch

you realize what you are saying is a problem (relying on freshman and 2nd team players)is not an issue that you could solve yesterday but will instead take multiple recruiting classes

Nope I won’t say a realist you just being a complete vagina

everybody is already aware that beating Florida fixes nothing you rehashing the same old shite that’s already been talked about 100 times

Also you do realize LSU is playing with one of the youngest teams in the SEC this year LSU has nothing but a bright future ahead

Are you kidding? It showed that the young players on this team are bad arse and with a regular year of practice they will be a force to handle.

I think the young guys winning says a lot about their leadership and ability to step in and play at an elite level.

That win gives me so much to look forward to for many years, lots of young guys showed out Saturday night.

Hard to believe that one win would do that. It doesn’t minimize the glaring issues this team was facing not even 10 days ago.

Celebrate the win, no doubt, but the mentality on this board that everything is just suddenly ok now is delusional and kinda weird.

Thats exactly the problem! Thats not sustainable. We are going to habitually be fielding one of the youngest teams in CB.

Beating Florida

Was GREAT!

Going to Gainesville with 53 players, at times below 50, with Freshmen starting Damn near everywhere and destroying their CFB playoff chances was fantastic!

BUT

But enjoy the Fk out of it in a vacuum!

LSU needs and WILL make wholesale changes to the coaching staff (DC/OC/PGC to name a few).

CEO fate will be decided by Title IX and not off of this season.

This is also the biggest year in re-recruiting draft eligible players!! LSU started the year with 66 players on its roster, with a hard cap on 25 per year, ED has to bring majority of draft eligible players back for roster management and get numbers into the 70s

I'm confused. Would it have been better to get blown out by 50 in your opinion? I mean that way there is no distraction from the issues right?

We fix the relying on freshman issue by playing next season. By then the freshmen will be sophomores and the problem will be solved.

We can be distracted because we don't fix problems. This is a message board for fans. You are not part of the program and neither are we. Perhaps enjoy the win pal

Enjoy the win. I expect we'll play a decent game against LandMassU, and then we plan for 2021.

No worry, the black cloud brigade will be here to tell us it means nothing.
It proves this coaching staff is competent to recruit and develop players.
Sophomores and freshmen were key to the win.
But! The Qb, WR, Dbs, Dl, freshmen everywhere and we never blinked. Something to get excited about.

I agree. I went back and watched the game and honestly we got lucky af. Offense looked better and defense in some areas too. We still gave up 600 yards and couldn’t tackle for shite.

We have to beat Ole Miss, though. Otherwise the bleeding resumes.
