Lost to Loyola Marymount…. Dble elimination but pretty much done.

What more would you like to know? We’re the 4th seed and lost to the 5. 3-1 and we were leading in the 5th match but it got stopped because match was over. Only match we won was #1 pair.

I’m watching on app and it appears to be 2-2. We won court 1 and 5, LMU won 2 and 3. Court 4 was still playing

I don’t follow that closely but it sucks we were the clear #1 team last season while it feels like we’ve had a drop off this year

Why did they stop court 4 at 17-12 when the match was 2-2 or was the app running slow

You obviously have no idea what's going on. We lost 3-2. And its beach volleyball, losing when its double elimination is not some big disadvantage like other sports.

Well, we now have to win at least 5 more matches versus the winner bracket only having to win 3 more...

Yeah but its not like they will run out of stamina or anything like that. Or like baseball where you blow through your pitching. Hell the more matches might actually help them get in a rhythm. Who knows?

So happy to see this post and thank you! I have been following our young ladies who have kept LSU in highlights with this fun sport. Many matches go down to the wire. I tried to cheer them on at the UCLA & USC matches out west but no one other than teams were allowed.
We truly have a talented group and can bounce back.

Kristin Nuss is one of the best athletes to ever play at LSU.
