Yes. There were some mistakes
Of course we can be better
But at the end of the day if you know football this a team that will compete in every game they play
Max Johnson is a stud even with the pick 6. He can sling it
We do need to run the ball better and hopefully Kiner gets the nod.
The first team defense made one bone head play, but clearly recovering
At the end of the day I can at least acknowledge we will be in every game and have a chance
Can’t say that in the other years, maybe I’m old enough to remember those years

Talent is all over the place. It was the first time in a while they looked like they were having fun especially on defense. It was good to see. I’m happy with what I saw tonight. Good builder for sec play

Most certainly there’s talent

The question is if the stupid idiots in charge use it correctly

I saw a lot of improvement tonight on both sides of the ball. Our biggest issues remain busted coverages and poor OL play. I believe the coverage can get better and will need to be better in league play. I don’t know how much the OL can improve.

Still issues at OL, more zone helped

Still missing that stud safety that makes big plays.

Everything else looking better

We literally had a game where we didn’t punt last year against South Carolina lol. Even bad teams can have a few good games

I don't think anyone disagrees with have talent, the problem is we dont have the talent in oline or lb and that is going to cost us some games

Was the talent ever really in question?

We’re a year away in my opinion, the youth is the strength of this team. Setting up nicely if we continue to progress. Players will be better and the new hires will be better. There will still be the occasional WTF’s but they’ll diminish. We have some gamers on both sides of the line.

I was never disappointed because this team is untalented. I was pissed off because even with all the talent on this team, we still lost to a UCLA team far less talent relative to LSU.

I never doubted that LSU was supremely talented. However, losing games to teams we should be totally annihilating was what pissed me off.

Nonetheless, had LSU played UCLA tonight, it would have won the game easily.

Other than the OL, LB and S there is top tier SEC talent at each position. The problem is those three positions are severely lacking.

I think that's why people were negative. All that talent and we were seriously underperforming

CMU is an FBS division 1 school there champ. They play in the MAC so not exactly a bell cow, but not an FCS school.

The talent isn't the issue. It's about the coaches in charge of the talent. Mostly on the offensive side of the ball.

It was nice to see some other receivers in the mix. I thought Smith played a great game.

Defense was very good for two weeks straight.

OL still getting pushed around, lack of a running game, why isn't Kiner starting? That kid is a stud.

The OL/lack of running game outside of Kiner is the most glaring issue.

We should've walked all over CMU. When this happens against an SEC opponent, I'll be a little more impressed.

May as well be. Worthless team to inflate all of the sunshine pumpers and O deniers heads.
