Wade is just killing it!

quote:

"Our expectations are high for all of our guys. High standards, a high way that we do things. Brandon's progressing well. He looks like a different player. His confidence defensively has become even more confident. He's working harder and getting grittier," Wade said. "Duop, man Duop is just a worker. He comes in and punches that clock every day. He gets after it and really, really takes pride about doing a great job. We're working with him to expand his post game."

This makes me happy happy. Wade is what LSU has been missing for a very long time. A young, gritty, and motivated head coach. Basketball is my first love and to know where we are now as a program pumps me up!

The basketball team could go winless so long as the football team wins the sec and beats Bama

Oh cool! It's "That Guy".

And explain to me how the fortunes of the football team and the basketball team are dependent on one another...

Yeah I couldn't believe how he would defend Jones and say he needed more time. Jones was horrendous, it was a clown show on the court.

Could see Duop being a G-League guys for 2-3 years then having a 7-8 year NBA career. NBA really loves guys that can be molded and he has things you cant teach (intangibles) as well as a nice stretch 4 aspect to his game.

You're such a shite LSU fan. Guessing not an alum. What does one have to do with the either? Also, I see you're ate up with Bama.

I like it. Coupling youthful enthusiasm with allusions to past LSU legends like Les Miles. A sure recipe for success.

Yes, you can always tell the Alums from those that have never set foot in an LSU class room. (Or any college class room)

The high school zenith guys are mainly just LSU football fans and could care less about the rest of the LSU athletic teams. (And the University)

Currently, I'm not even sure how many are interested in the actual game; but primarily the tailgating/drinking party before and after.

The game has become secondary, as evidenced by the declining atmosphere in TS.

Bama or Ole Miss at night, no decline. Auburn, aTm, Florida, right up there as well.

For everything else, the atmospheric declination is very noticeable. (Especially for those that have been attending regularly since the 70's and have A LOT of games under their belt for comparison)
