Let me start by saying I’m not a fan of the product on the field right now. No one is so I’m not gonna beat the dead horse. I do however love watching LSU baseball and it would be a crying shame to miss the post-season.. With that being said we have 5 series left. ( 15 games ).
IF we can take 2/3 of those that puts us at 14 wins in conference going into Hoover. I doubt we get in with less than 14.

Let’s go baby

How do you propose we take 2/3 at ole miss and vs Arkansas? We have yet to rise to the challenge against elite arms. You just think that’s gonna happen this week?

Will you be back next Sunday saying we just need to sweep the last 3 series?

A&M, Bama, and Auburn are very do-able.

No. I’m just as frustrated with the direction of the program as you are. But I’m a fan and enjoy watching the game. If you’re someone who sits around wishing the team misses the post-season just so we fire Paul then that’s miserable as frick. These kids go through college once. Why would you wish them to miss an opportunity like playing in a regional and beyond?

There is no path. Dunn will throw out the arms on Friday and Saturday night starters next.

Man, love your passion & I wish nothing but the best for the kids, but CPM has no miracle finishes left in him.

Just hoping for néw blood in ‘22.

if they don't EARN it they don't EARN it.

we're where we are because the players and coaches and program just assumed that the "LSU" on our jerseys would get us there.

It quit winning us championships, then it quit getting us to Omaha, and now it may not even get us to a regional, and that's okay. It will be a kick in the arse for the entire program and plenty of fans on here. Mainieri will have to look the camera into the red light and say we weren't good enough.

They will be lucky to win 2 games in the next 2 series. This team is done. It’s sad to say but I have been following LSU baseball since 1987 and this is the most disappointing team in my time following.

Honestly, I do not see a single victory the next 6 games. That means an 8 game SEC losing streak headed into the last 3 series.

Could not agree more. The top of the 7th on Saturday was the final nail in the coffin.

Why anyone would want to torture themselves watching this program lose games the same way over and over, year after year, is beyond me.

Give it up until a new staff is in place. Until then, you will just see the same process repeated.
