Heathcott was going to be a position player first, obviously as bad as the pitching has been he would have received a shot on the mound also

while true he was a left handed pitcher that threw in the low 90's with a solid curve ball...he was going to see time on the mound albeit a mid-week pitcher at first...

and as far as the rest I know plenty and have countered everything that you have attempted and as far as the term signees I think you and I are on different wavelengths after going back and reading everything as signing and playing and signing a going pro...nevertheless I follow it and know what I am referring too...I'm I 100% accurate, no, no one is including you, which I have proven...

Have a nice day...

Were there more people in the stands at the beginning of the game? Florida has been on a bit of a streak, you'd think they would have a better crowd.

It's amazing how many guys' performance has completely fallen off. Rittiner is another example of this.

You haven't proven anything. I'll even give you the benefit of the doubt and pretend Heathcott wasn't even a two way player and was only a pitcher. Three pitchers still isnt't a huge risk. You said they went after "too many" and didn't get enough "solid" guys.

The entire point is we have a roster full of the "solid" types and they are the ones getting pounded on what is now becoming a daily basis. It isn't like our recruiting classes are overflowing with nothing but top flight draft prospects.

If you don't take a few risks you don't end up with guys like Ranaudo and you don't win championships. Thats just the way it is.

yes im at the game and a lot of people left around the 6th, it's close to 95 degrees out with no cloud coverage so its hard to handle sitting in the heat for so long. still there are a lot of empty seats but nobody really is in town anymore with classes out so it's not surprising
