I didn't catch the beginning of this debate, but I would image he is disturbed by the manner in which Mitchell gets out and not necessarily the fact that he actually gets out. If Mitchell were to put the ball in play rather than striking out, his OB% could be damn near .600, IMO.

Personally I like Mahtook hitting first. Mitchell also seems more comfortable when he is not leading off. I wonder what his stats look like batting 6 or 7 versus leadoff. I have always believed that consistency as a hitter is important for the leadoff spot. Not just and ob% stat.
