This game is looking more and more like this season. Very meh, no clutch and if they don't start kicking the ball around it's another loss.

If I had to guess it was a former player. That's all we hire

Not sure how you can blame Freeman if the 3rd base coach told him to go.

Cole took a risk and almost made it. Diechman certainly would have gotten him in from 3rd with a fly out.

With Cole on second Diechman would have been walked.

Just a little too aggressive but he thought he would make it.

But we swept bama last week! Lol. We don't have the talent on this team to overcome poor coaching decisions on the bases or anywhere else. It's a fricking joke. We run ourselves out of so many scoring opportunities by just being overly aggressive and stupid on the basepaths. Our cowches are fricking dumb and just aren't good enought at basicall anything for this team to go anywhere in the postseason. They will self destruct. Our coaching is piss poor.

A couple teams were in the race with also benefited in the standings with a sweep over bama. A lot of really good teams in the SEC and we are still in the thick of it.

Mathematically they are in it but watch them play. It's simple, they can not hit! Pitching is struggling. I do think if somehow they could start getting more timely hitting and scoring that pitching would improve. Lange, Walker, and Pochè must feel like they have to throw shutouts every time they take the mound. If they could relax some, I think they would improve. With series against Auburn and MSU remaining after this week, best case they go 5-4.

Our 97 team that's being honored this weekend had Mike Bianco, Jim Schwanke and Dan Canaveri as assistant coaches...
Compare that to what we have now.
