I honestly believe that inning shows CPM's lack of confidence in the pen, not his confidence in AR.

Great pitchers have bad innings...if those bad innings are in the 6th or later...you definately take them out. If it's only the 4th...you go with them a little longer. That's just baseball. Now down 5-3..if he struggles 2 innings in a row...ya..you take him out...

We don't exactly have lights out relief pitching so you have to stay with your best pitcher in that situation.

Shortsided LSU fans complain as one that we don't have middle relief (which we don't, but no one in college baseball does) and at the same time complain because we leave in our Friday pitcher while we are down only 2 runs in the 4th?
