Multi position guy playing catcher because of injuries.

I'm sure he is just filling in till Garza is back. He is not great at blocking balls in the dirt but does an adequate job for scrimmages. He hasn't had an opportunity to throw out a base runner that I remember. He has several hits in the last spot in the order.

Below is the schedule for this week’s fall practices:

Tuesday, October 23rd: Practice @ 3pm, No Scrimmage

Wednesday, October 24th: OFF DAY

Thursday, October 25th: Practice @ 3pm, No Scrimmage

Friday, October 26th: Scrimmage #2 @ UNO (Privateer Park, 6801 Franklin Ave., New Orleans, LA)

The schedule on LSUSports.net shows a start time for the UNO scrimmage to be "5:15 CT."

I don't know if that's still the time or not. Sorry.

I checked UNO baseball web site and there is no mention of the game Friday. It does have an article about the game at LSU.
