I missed the first 7 innings of the game so I didn't get to see the play live, but it's hard to argue with that picture.

JJ going oppo gap is a great sign for him. shows he's not pulling off the ball, which is what gets him in trouble.

Did anyone hear Mainieri on the post game last night? They were talking about the unexpected good weather and Mainieri said something along the lines of "we need to get these fans back out here this weekend. I think the threat of rain scared them away." There were more asses in the seats last Friday alone than what Notre Dame sold all of last season. And he is upset that only 1700 showed on up a rainy, nasty Thursday night. I think he's getting a little spoiled.
