Losing the UGA series was major setback.

It's always a good idea to throw in the towel on the baseball team in March.
Sorry the "February-March national championship" you wanted so badly didn't come to fruition.
It is the most coveted title in all of sports. Maybe next year.

Football has its share of gameday retards, but you halfwit baseball fans are the fricking worst

They are 4-2
Sweeping a home series and losing 1-2 on the road, to a top 5 team, is not the worst thing ever.
They also get Missouri (on the road), so hopefully that's a sweep.
That's 9 / 30 games right there
That's 7 / 20 (the mark every team wants to hit)
LSU is on pace for 20 wins, but I doubt they get it. 17-13 or 18-12 is not a bad outlook for this team currently

Eh... I mean, losing a series always sucks. A "major setback" is a bit of a stretch in my opinion. I for one was extremely encouraged by the performances we got out of Hess and Henry. Scoring 1 run in the first 18 innings of the series is obviously concerning, but I have faith our bats will heat up. UGA is one of the toughest teams we'll face all year.

After losing a series to possibly the best team in the SEC when the last game could have went either way?
Ok
Ok

They lost a road series to a top 10 team. Not that big of a deal. Though they still need to wake the hell up on offense.

They faced a guy, TWICE, with 8 appearances and a 0.00 ERA for Lord's sake.

Did you give up on the 2017 that lost two of its first three sec series?
Beloso and DiGiacomo will hit. They are seeing the best pitching they have ever seen. Both hit the ball well yesterday. Gio hit well all weekend. The more they see the better they get. Cabrera struggled early last year before turning it around. Duplantis isn’t going to continue to slump. He is going to start hitting again. Watson Smith and Cabrera have been hitting lately and have proven they can hit sec pitching. That’s 7 of your 9. Garza needs to take over the catcher role when he is healthy. Second base is just going to be a defensive position this year. Don’t expect much at the plate.
The pitching has been fantastic last two weekends. Hess and Hill are a solid 1-2. I don’t put much stock in what happened late in the game yesterday. Fontenot and Vetmeier have been steady they just both had bad outings. Going to have that some times. Especially facing a veteran lineup like Georgia.
ETA: and Reid forgot him. He will be Reid. Not great but good and will battle every time he steps up to the plate.

Don't worry about me numbnuts. I know enough about baseball to not start an idiotic thread about the baseball team losing a road series 1-2 to a top five team in March.
Since you apparently disagree, maybe it is you who should stay the frick away from LSU baseball. The less idiot fans the better.

I wonder if they are all total BS like this one.

I am still a diehard baseball fan...not nearly as much as I was 10 years ago. Mainly because there are so many dipshits who watch baseball and couldn't care less about the other sports. I sat next to people for years who griped every inning and then win SR and it's "Omaha! Omaha!" I swear some of these fans just want people to know that they were able to drive their motorhome to Nebraska. And one other thing...the biggest chicken Littles are baseball fans. By far. Insufferable. More titles combined than Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, State, A&M, UGA, and Florida...and 4-2 in the SEC is disastrous. The horror!

We used to be able to confide the stupid Ranters to football season.
Now, you fools are infecting baseball and basketball too. I guess if we don't win a natty in gymnastics, y'all will start complaining about how D-D is the newest Miles.
