It is called the longest day in golf: 10 36-hole sectional qualifiers for next week’s U.S. Open played Monday across the country.
It turned out to be a banner day for four current and former LSU golfers, who not only moved on to Shinnecock Hills but did so in style.
Former Tiger Sam Burns and current LSU players Luis Gagne, Philip Barbaree and Jacob Bergeron won their respective sectionals. They will all have spots in the field when the U.S. Open begins June 14 in Southampton, New York.

Getting 3 current players in seems pretty damn impressive.

Very impressive.
And who would downvote this?
Edit to answer my own question. I didn't realize who started the thread.
