Is there any position that LSU compares favorably in terms of strength and conditioning?

Either Cohran is the Jack LaLanne of our time or that deer antler spray is real legit.

LSU is closer to Bama than any other SEC team. They are stronger however and LSU can't compete in the trenches.

No one is. Until he retires, this is what we've got.

No, overpowering is THEIR game.

How about being a little...no a lot innovative.

Hugh Freeze beat them two years in a row.

Turning the offense into a live wire of unpredictability is a good way to start.

Heck, LSU has never, including the Saban years, fully utilized all the talent on the team.

Use what we got.

Bingo. PED. Look at the size of Bama players. Do you think they were that size a year or two ago in high school? Bama has been doing this for sometime now.

Alabama just knows how to play LSU. That must change starting with the offense. You can't be predictable anymore and keep trying to run the ball on these people. Saban knows that's what LSU likes to do and it helps also if you do not have people like Ethan Pocic playing center. Dude is waay to tall to be lining up at center. They showed in the highlights of the game how Bama DT's were easily able to get up under him and drive him backwards into the back field basically. But LSU has to stop running directly at these people and spread them out and throw the damn ball constantly. Keep them off balance and then hit them with some runs by Guice and whomever else when they are not expecting it.

I know it's been said over and over, but I have yet to see them do it.

We must be honest with ourselves. No program recruits well enough on the oline to run a prostyle offense and best bama. As much as i hate it we have to move to a spread offense and make their secondary be the playmakers instead of playing into their strength of front 7 dominance.

Everywhere Saban goes the players are suddenly gigantic and fast.

Steroids.

The most obvious explanations are usually right when it comes to sports.
