Obviously a lot of hostility coming into this game has been amped up due to the bullshite first half suspension of LSU's All American Middle Linebacker. This matchup has its history of a slugfest. It will undoubtedly be a TOP3 Battle with playoff implications on the line, but......

For all the Gumps calling for a blowout and saying that Dwhites suspension will have no influence on the outcome of this game is absurd. I've seen some Bammers calling for a 30+ point victory. ahahahahahah. You crazy? GTFO of your own heads and look at the history of this rivalry.

You do realize that going back to 2007 the 11 regular season games between these two schools has been decided by an average of only a Touchdown!

The average combined score for the last DECADE is BAMA 23.2 - LSU 16.6

So don't sit there and tell the nation that our best defensive player has no bearing on the outcome of the game. Bama fans need to get off their high horse and start coming to grips that this game will go 4qtrs and it will probably come down to a few key plays that decides this thing. Only thing that LSU fans can hope for is that the SEC and these clownass referees are under the microscope enough now that they call this game both ways.

I can tell you this. Georgia fans thought they would steam roll LSU, and I think the players and coaches did too. I hope $abama has the same idea. If they just throw their hat out on the field and expect to win, our Tigers will shock the world again!

I can see where the optimism comes from....they have been crushing every opponent. If LSU can't compete on the O/D lines....there in for a long day. As for Devin White....no excuses....win or lose but to say he has no influence is just BS.

Well, considering that their last run of championships are all being called into question now, they're in full retard mode.

LSU just doesn't have the type of offense or QB to beat Bama.

That is why Bama has won 7 straight.

well the D white suspension has a huge influence on the game. But I can see this game being a blowout. Unlike past Bama teams they have a really explosive offense to go with the usual great defense.

But Bama fans CALLING for a blowout has no bearing on that happening. It will happen or it won't but Bama fans won't have anything to do with it.

Hell, very few of the players on Bama are even from Alabama so they probably aren't as invested in where they're fans heads are at anyway.

We'll see about that. Our WRs are about as deep as we've had in a good while. If our team comes out locked in and bama come into the game a little over confident, I could easily see LSU picking off a couple of passes and going up by a couple of scores.

When the pressure is on in the biggest games is when Burrow plays his best and is locked in. He can easily get it done against bama. Our OL can respond and play a very physical game that your DL hasn't seen yet. When your team goes through real adversity inside of a stadium that is rocking, how will they respond? Of course you have talent but it's fairly young. The QB is very young too. It could all come to a head in this one if LSU is locked in and playing good football.

I could easily see a senerio that comes down onto bama and is too much to overcome. It very well could happen. This stadium will be wild AF. Something your QB hadn't seen yet. Now LSU will have to play its best game of the year and be totally locked in as a team but it can happen. P

they don't show up at least a couple times each season. Last year vs Auburn for sure. They have had far more talent then whoever they are playing yet still somehow have managed to lose a game or two each season and have had other games played closely against them, which wouldn't happen if they showed up each week.

If there is one thing that you can say about Saban at Alabama it's that they show up to play pretty much everyone

Which is why they've been so dominant this year. They don't play down to their opponents. We'll get their best shot. If we beat them we'll have earned it. They're not going to show up flat for a road game in Death Valley against a top 5 opponent.

In the last 3 meetings LSU has not been threat to win the game. They have been multi score games. 14 pt beat down in 2015 that was worse than the score, a 10 pt shutout in 2016, and a 14 pt win last year.

In the 7 game steak, only 2 of the games did LSU have a legit chance. In 2012 and 2014 honestly LSU choked those games away.

2013 was a 3td beat down.

The games have probably been closer than the programs have been mostly because of conservative play calling on the part of Bama.

Bama has had elite defenses and LSU horrible offenses. The only way Bama could lose if they turned the ball over because LSU was not threat to score.

Bama does not have an elite defense this year so Bama will not be conservative on offense. Bama has elite offensive personnel and QB and offensive line to take advantage of the skill positions. They will score.

They are running a version of the the Patriots offense, but with elite players and not just system guys.
