Bama is going to hire Prohm from Iowa State.
Wade is probably too radioactive to get a high-major job this year. In 3 years though, he absolutely would be in play assuming he doesn't have a show-cause.

Why is Wade radioactive? Not every university guts itself because of rumors started by a hack.

Look, I want to gut these dumb SOB's who created this mess like fish. Don't get me wrong - LSU's top priority ought to be keeping Wade around.
And after the way he's been treated here we couldn't blame him if he gave Alleva and F. King the finger and took another job.
But there is a real danger that there could be some meat on these bones. I think it's worth riding out because Wade is elite, but somebody else isn't going to pay a buyout and hire a coach who might be in trouble with the NCAA.
I'm saying what's more likely is these clowns fire Wade, and somebody like Murray State or Florida Atlantic hires him because why not, and two years from now when he's a 9-seed with a 30-3 record going into the tournament after the NCAA hasn't done anything to him, THAT's when he shows back up in the SEC and torments us for the next 20 years.
Hopefully there will be an outbreak of sentience in the LSU administration and none of this comes to pass. There is less and less reason for hope that'll happen.

If Wade somehow ends up on a Tuscaloosa Tarmac getting kissed by some gump...I will seriously lose my shite. It will be the ultimate high water mark kick in the nuts as a LSU fan and a historic low for the LSU admin. I don't think I would have any faith going forward in the direction of both the institution and the athletic department for years to come.

No major program will give Will Wade the time of day. LSU has no worries about an SEC team hiring him. UCLA wouldn't touch him, and they've been desperate for the glory days. Feinswog said he had talked with reps of major programs a year ago, and they wouldn't even consider him because "he's cheating his arse off."
