The guy that’s getting replaced may be pissed, but he will either use it as motivation or he will transfer out. You’re replacing that guy with a better player so kind of irrelevant.
The other guys may be upset for their friend, but that won’t carry over onto the baseball field or make them dislike the new guy.
All pretty routine stuff to be honest. It’s not like a movie where all 9 guys are going to be replaced.

LSU had guys on the team this year that had no business in a LSU uniform, much less playing.

New coach doesn’t have any loyalty to the current players. I have absolutely no problem with him bringing in the guys he trusts.

If a player signed and came to LSU and didn’t expect competition every year for their spot on the field then they signed with the wrong program. When you recruit and play at the level LSU does (CWS or bust) you have to expect to be challenged. If that’s not what they expect, they shouldn’t have come in the first place.
