5 players Auburn could pursue in portal
Now that would be interesting, 2 former LSU Tigers playing for Auburn.

The transfer portal is absurd. Professionals sign agreements where they can't leave for years, but college kids can screw over a school on an emotional teenage whim.

It's gotten out of hand. They can't do the nil and this transfer with 0 penalty. They need to remove the 1 time transfer with 0 penalty, and find some capacity to cap the nil stuff.

Would be hilarious if Max transferred to Auburn and won the job over Finley.

How are they screwing over the University? Genuine question.

I mean, Max has screwed his teammates by entering the portal before the bowl game. Yet they gave him a stage to show his wares and he walked out on them. That's the definition of screwing over.

what? the entire logic was that coaches leave all the time so players should be able to leave too.

Im fine with the transfer rule. However, i think it would help everyone if the porta was closed in season. There is no benefit to having people jump in it mis to late season. Open it up after the national championship

WRONG. He's hurt requiring surgery and even if he was on the team he'd be out.

There needs to be a rule that you can’t transfer until after two or three years unless there is a HC change then it’s open to whomever.

and maybe a 1 time portal rule. You can enter once but after that you have to sit out a year if you enter a second time.

Sounds like you’re having an emotional teenage moment.

The kids are doing what they feel is best for them and their careers.

Has this been confirmed? I've seen this posted twice now but haven't seen any official story on this.

My hope is that they do create NIL and transfer rules. With such a drastic change being implemented it takes a bit of time to enact the related rules, otherwise, the sweeping change with untested rules creates unintended consequences which can negatively affect the implementation.

If he did go there and beat out TJ Finley then I wonder if Finley would transfer again.

From what I understand about the new transfer rules is you can transfer anywhere with a one time pass to not have to sit out.

So my question is if it's a 2nd transfer then do you have to sit out a season? I would assume so, because the language I have seen always states 1 time transfer pass.

Sorry, I didn't see this when responding. Looks like this answers my question.

I like this a lot. I would hate unlimited transfers without any time to sit.

It's one transfer without having to sit out.
