At this point the chances of 10 wins looks at least 50-50

We could sleepwalk to 7. We beat MSU and FL easily with the kind of game we had yesterday. Going 1/3 against A&M, UGA, and Bama gets us 10 and a good bowl. One more win than that puts us in the CFB.

I think we have to win the SEC to make the playoffs. The system is rigged.

I think 11-1 having beaten either Bama or UGA gets us in. I dont see how they could deny us.

As of today, 8 wins seems extremely likely unless we lay an egg at Florida or they somehow play out of their mind. It's hard to see beating either Bama or Georgia, they are both just too good this year. So the season comes down to MSU and TAMU. Win both, you are probably in a NYD6 bowl. Lose one or both, it's another Music City type of year.

Mississippi State will be a tough game.

It’s good we get them at home.

If we are 11-1 and win the SECw, will have to win the SECCG to get in.

If we are 11-1 and do t make the SECCG, we are out. We won’t get the same break Bama gets.

If we get the the SECCG and lose and finish 11-2 we are out. Especially if it’s 2 losses to UGA

Sucks but I believe it is true.

With the Big 10 going down in flames yesterday, two SEC teams getting in became very realistic.

The win over Auburn put us in prime position to be one of those teams

One game at a time fellas

But if we can take down a legit Auburn team @ JH then we are capable of beating just about anyone.

The 3 games before UGA gives LSU a chance to improve the offensive play heading into that game.

If this offense is clicking when UGA comes to BR, it’ll be fun. I’m anxious to see what IGA defense looks like against a good offense. Haven’t seen it play a good offense yet.

Georgia will not have seen a defense near as good as LSU by the time they get here.

First up is LATech though. We shall see...

Definitely. Mississippi State will be tough. Yes, it's great we play them at home. And hopefully, last year's bad loss to them will give them extra motivation.

We're going to push A7M's shite in. I'm more worried about Mississippi State. Fitzgerald is the truth and as long as he's slinging the rock to those skill guys, MSU is dangerous.

They will have to lose two or more to not sneak into the playoff. The media is gushing over them even more so than other years. They will get the benefit of the doubt unless someone forces the committee's hand. We need to beat them and become huge Auburn fans in the iron bowl.

Yes, they had some embarrassing losses; but most of those were by some of their crappier teams anyway, save Wisconsin. Fact remains that if either OSU or Penn St. go undefeated, then they are in the CFP.

Right now, the SEC is getting one, Clemson another, and Oklahoma likely for the Big XII. Pac 10 is almost assuredly out of it. That leaves a 4th spot for Big 10, assuming what I said above about OSU or PSU, or Notre Dame (if they win out), or a 2nd team from SEC. So there are definitely still dominos that have to fall for SEC to get a 2nd team in.

If we go 11-1 without winning the West, and don't get into the playoff with the tough schedule we play, that will only confirm how much Alabama bias there is. By the same rules Alabama got in last season, no doubt LSU would deserve to get in.

And yet, they both lost at Auburn last year. And both play at LSU this year.
