I really don’t feel sorry for him. He kinda brought this on himself. Even if he was asked those jacked up questions, you don’t go broadcasting it to the media what happened during a job interview. Any “potential boss” would be pissed. And then pouting and being sarcastic about not being able to be himself to the media. Just shows his immaturity. That’s the character issues that have turned people off. We live and learn though. He will too. That was just an expensive mistake unfortunately.

I don;t feel sorry for him. I just think that a couple of franchises were stupid to pass on him or draft a worse back. Somebody is going to get a great deal in the next couple of days.

Yeah it's hard to feel sorry for self inflicted wounds. He should still be taken in the second round tonight.

Yes. That’s exactly right. It was a private job interview. The media is not who you joke with or vent to about it.

The word is they are taking Chubb. If indeed they do then we can all agree that Guice has indeed been blackballed by the owners.

other players have been asked the same questions in the past and said so.

Jeff Ireland asked the prostitute question to Dez Bryant.

Actually the rumors from the media were that some GM(s) said he had accountability problems. Which is total crap.

The inappropriate questions may or may not have happened. Who cares? You don't not pick a guy who would help a football team because he naively mentioned to the media that he got some goofy-arse questions asked. He didn't out the team that asked him, he just didn't keep as silent as they may have wanted.

Lastly, the "character issues" were floated before he told the media he feels like he can't be himself now, so to say that his reaction to a false report is the reason why the false report is true, is pretty f'ing stupid. It's circular logic and it's sad that it's happening to a guy who has done everything to make the best of being dealt a crappy hand early in life and still continues to just be a decent human being and outstanding football player.

It's possible he fell for other reasons...NFL teams have terrible evaluations all the time. Dalvin Cook randomly went 30 picks after Christian McCaffery last year. Sometimes guys drop because the teams in the market for their position are poor decision makers.

If we are to consider this bullshite “character issues”, ask yourself this: What is the severity of Guice’s “indictments” in comparison to every other current college or pro football player? You wanna talk about issues? This is some petty petty shite in comparison to the what’s out there. Certainly not worth passing on him in the draft.

Right. This isn't the real reason he is dropping. It can't be.

Exactly. There have been many other players with "character issues" over the years that were drafted highly. If you can help them win, they don't care. There has to be more to it than his media nonsense. Regardless, he will make more than any of us message board chumps so he's gonna be fine.

I'm pulling for the guy and people must realize we have had three years of Guice, and have watched him mature "cough", through interviews, his play, life story, etc. But for the life of me, when millions are on the line, dress me up in a skirt and call me susie for a day!! Once drafted I'll then be me for all the world to see!

Well he missed meetings too.

That's a pretty big character concern. You're preparing for the biggest moment of your entire life and you can't be bothered to go to meetings? Mind boggling.

Cleveland could use a runningback.

A haul of Mayfield, Chubb, and Guice is pretty damn legit.
