you can't have sports or anything. is it unsafe to get a cold, or the flu? facts are facts - unless you hit the high risk categories, you are not unsafe getting sick. yeah, yeah, there are some rare conditions you could get but you could get those with normal colds, flu, pneumonia, etc. you live with this amount of danger every day and it's acceptable risk. just not for covid for some reason.

this just isn't that dangerous to the average person. still, the nutcases are controlling the narrative, so everything is over unless we can wrest the narrative away and allow therapeutic treatments that work.

I’ll have to disagree on this point....in my experience, if you look hard enough, almost everyone has some condition that puts them at elevated risk.

I don't think of medical science as a "narrative" to be wrested away from those who observe it as something more than opinion.

Then why aren't they dying? This is a benign disease unless you are outrageously unhealthy.

ETA: Except for rare cases.

The problem to me is the way it is portrayed is that if you test positive and are asymptomatic that’s a bad thing for some reason. This should be celebrated every time that happens.

I had it and the only way I knew I had it was I got tested because I was in direct contact with someone who tested positive. I have one of the leading elevated risks and I was fine.

If someone has an underlying medical issue, they (not me) are responsible for protecting themselves.
Example: (Before CoVid) Someone/Your next-door neighbor has stage four cancer and has just completed chemo, radiation, etc. Their immune system is now shot. Since she shops at the same grocery store as you, are you (and everyone else that shops there) required to wear a mask to protect your neighbor. Based on the current narrative, yes.
