In the article it says he's from Thibodaux. That's false. Art is from South Lafourche. They don't make white boys that tough in Thibodaux.

I knew he was a good football player. I did not know he was a thug. Today, we wouldn't even recruit people like that.

His senior year, LSU had Cantrelle move in with my uncle, an ex CIA agent, who was head of security for LSU at the time. My uncle said it was a full-time job trying to keep Art out of trouble.

met him about a year ago thru another friend and found we had some things in common. When I shook his hand it was like a piece of steel but i survived it because i can wrap my hand around a watermelon. He talked on and on about a picture that was made with Jimmy Taylor and Billy Cannon and would get me a copy(never did. I will say that he was a STUD

Art and I are real good friends when I lived in Biloxi, I saw Art a lot. Super nice guy.......
