Armoni Goodwin could very well be the best back out of the bunch

He has been singled out all camp as a guy who is flashing.

Really just in size only. Their running styles are different. Clyde has some of the best lateral quickness we've ever seen at LSU. He could make a defender in perfect position for a tackle 6 inches away miss. What Clyde lacked was a top gear. He was run down from behind fairly often.
Goodwin looks to be more of a Ray Rice type of "small" back. He's more of a "north/south" runner with a bit more power than you might expect from a small guy. He doesn't appear to have the "suddeness" Clyde had. But he does appear to have the straight line speed Clyde didn't.

Dude is going to surprise some folks!

Hope all running backs just stay healthy. All 3 have had injury bug

Been saying I'd like to see more of him. Dude is built like a mini tank. He's deceptively fast and he's way stronger than his size says he is.

He looked really good in spring game

Wit chu there.
But at the same time, I hope that he's one of the best in the SEC not just Geaux Tiger's best.

I still think Corey Kiner would've been special had he stayed. No clue why he left.

Seeing a lot of praise for Noah Cain as well.
Hope this doesn't mean Emery has dropped off again.

According to media, he was running third today after Goodwin and Cain.

He’s been my pick. Quick feet and blazing top end speed. He only needs a crease.

Hope Emery picks it up, but may the best backs get the carries. If that’s Goodwin and Cain so be it.

I think BK made reference at his press conference about a DB meeting a bowling ball (Goodwin) lol.

We have 4. Not sure why everybody pretends Josh Williams doesn’t exist. But your point stands—we’re not very deep at all and need to stay healthy there.
