Independence Bowl for the next 7 years.

I'm pretty sure that's what you all want to hear anyway.

Yep, we'll always be terrible. It was a good run, if only we could get some good recruits in here.

Yep the kids leaving as juniors kinda sucks the life out of the program . It's like yea LSU put the most kids in the NFL. Yep but too soon!
Can't blame the kids, none of them are studying rocket science so NFL money is their chance.
I don't know the answer but winning championships with mostly underclass men is a hard road.

BEVA, Indy, Liberty or Music City, forget Capital and Peach.

This year, I'd like to see Outback Bowl vs Michigan. If you're not in BCS, all other bowl games are the same to me, and I'd like to see the Michigan match-up. I doubt the Cotton Bowl will want LSU since we just opened the season in Jerry World, and I doubt the Chicken Bowl wants LSU a second straight year.

As far as the future goes, let's wait and see how this recruiting class shapes up. If they lose 2-3 of the top Louisiana players, that could cause some problems.

From a purely selfish point of view, got no problem with that.... Only 15 minutes from the stadium!!!

Not that I want LSU to lose games and be mediocre, BUT...

A silver lining could be lower ticket prices (on stubhub and sold at games) bringing back some of the fans that are loud and stay to enjoy the whole game. When people really appreciated LSU football like it was meant to be. It's nice to be expected to compete for a NC each year, but at the same time it has had some negative impacts when we stray from that course even the slightest.

Just a thought.

Assuming we get a top 3 recruiting class this year and next (LA is STAAACKED with talent so I don't see why not), then I predict that 2014 will probably be a lot like 2010. The offense will probably struggle early due to new WR/RB/QB combos, but the defense should be somewhat improved due to experience/practice and our SECE schedule is easier. We should go 9-3 or 10-2 would be my super early uneducated guess, and our young talent will get some play time.

For 2015-16 we should be back on top again a la 2011 with an experienced and talented offense and defense.

We may get Cotton one day! Life is short. Enjoy what you got. The more you let it upset you the worse you will be.
