Are Palmer and Lee the new Andre Anthony and Ray Thornton?

I know it’s different positions. But it seemed like a couple years ago those guys were always mentioned together as needing or going to take the next step. Thornton ended up transferring and Anthony made a name for him self. Just feels like Lee and Palmer are always mentioned as guys that impress but never get on the field. Really hoping those guys take a step forward and show out this year. Both are incredible athletes who have all the talent in the world. Just need to put it together.

What does that feel like?

I don’t think so. Palmer has shown really good flashes, I think he’s just buried in a super talented position group.

Palmer has the physical talent to make the leap, he’s shown that he can do it, especially when he gets the ball in his hands in the open field. If he can work on his hands he’d be dynamic because all the other tools are there

Everything you hear about Lee is that he is the best jump ball guy and that he has all the tools and the body type. Just need to get on the field.

And the coaches need to stop moving him around and let him stick at one position and learn it

Lee could play a role at TE with how thin we are.

For sure, he’s definitely got the size to pull it off

Palmer should be a punt or kickoff return guy.

I agree. Palmer should be the returner. Dude is dynamic in space. No need to get sting injured.
Lee could be TE. Body type is similar to Bech like everyone I’d saying will be TE.
Crazy how deep the WR room is right now and that these guys haven’t gotten much PT. We also haven’t established a true number 2 or 3 receiver. Covid is going to make this interesting with all the extra eligibility.

If he has problems with his hands, then that is the last position you want him at.

I feel like fielding a punt is a lot different than a dig route across the middle

Have they actually decided on Lee's position?

I’ve been waiting for Andre Anthony to have a break out season for 6 years now

Didn't Andre Anthony lead the team in sacks despite missing a couple of games? I don't think he can be listed on any list of unproductive players.

Trey Palmer is wasting his time at WR. Needs to move to CB.

I hope Devonta Lee is the Flex tight end/wide receiver this season. Heard he has excellent hands.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Lee and Palmer used a good bit this year. Sounds like Jenkins and Kirkland will be the main 2 behind uno.
